ProposeTimes

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 10, 2026

These terms apply to ProposeTimes, the Chrome extension for Google Calendar ("the extension"), and the proposetimes.com website. By installing or using the extension, you agree to these terms.

What the extension does

ProposeTimes lets you select time blocks on your Google Calendar, generates text describing those times, and — if you choose — creates hold events on your calendar through the Google Calendar API.

License

You may use the extension free of charge for personal or commercial purposes. You may not resell, repackage, or misrepresent the extension as your own.

Your responsibilities

Google services

The extension depends on Google Calendar and the Google Calendar API, which are provided by Google under their own terms. We are not affiliated with Google, and Google Calendar's behavior or availability may change at any time, which may affect or break the extension's functionality.

Privacy

The extension does not collect or transmit your data to us. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer of warranties

The extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated times will always be accurate — please double-check important scheduling text before sending it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the extension, including missed meetings, double-bookings, or scheduling errors.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
